If you were to go to the festival in a 7 man people carrier with a trailer on the back, would you be allowed to park in the main car park or would you have to disconnect the trailer or something?

And is it possible to put a trailer on the back of any car? We're thinking of hiring a people carrier but we arnt sure whether its possible (or allowed) to easily connect a trailer on to the back of it or not.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Yes, it's possible to tow a trailer with any car (provided that the car has a towbar of course!). Only thing to check is that you don't exceed the maximum permitted towing weight of that particular vehicle, but when you consider that people carriers are easily capable of pulling caravans and suchlike, then you won't have any problems with just a trailer :lol:

i think you may have trouble finding a rental company that have a people carrier with a tow bar fitted, tow bars dont come as standard on many vehicles and rental companies wont want to spend money fitting them, plus theres the added danger of the customer trying to tow excessive weights and damaging the vehicle. you shouldn't have any trouble parking if you do get one tho, just make sure you get a lock that covers the hitch to keep it safe over the weekend
