How Much Cash Can you get?

I am going to the festival on the Wednesday but don't get paid until the Thursday so I will need to get cash out from the cash point, how much will they allow you to get out at any one time and what are the queues like on Thursday?

I think its the standard limit of the cash card your using, the queues are a nightmare whenever you go to be honest, think a mate went at about 4 am last year and still waited over an hour.

go to the natwest cash machines up by the farmhouse, they don't charge a fee like the other ones, there's not ususally a queue as people don't want to have to walk up the hill (i went there last yer, i can't remember what time it was but it was daylight, and i only waited about 20 minutes) and best of all you can visit the flushing porcelain toilets they have up there

We went to the cash point on the Friday, just after Kate Nash. We only waited for about 40 minutes which considering it was Glastonbury, wasn't too bad! That was the cash points by the railway line.

If the ones up at the farmhouse don't charge to withdraw then that suits me, plus I camp in the top part of Kidney Mead so it's only a short walk to get up there.

I can't say I've ever noticed the cash points around the festival before though I suppose I haven't been looking for them.

There's a few dotted around. I remember (think in 2007) using the ones in Holts with no queue, possibly on the Satuday.

Went to the cash point on the way to the JP Tent on the friday morning last year, was the 2nd person in the Q! Depends if your lucky really!

People: take as much cash as you're going to need. Have a money belt. Leave some in the lockups.

The cashpoint should be a last resort.

The ones near the farm don't open until 10am Thursday which we discovered in 2005! Luckily we managed to get cash back!

The ATM's around the site have smaller queues but there is a charge. This may be useful from the GF site, however it doesn't state when the others open. A lot of stalls will do cash back if you make a purchase so this may help in your situation.

• NatWest Cash Machines are situated near the farmhouse. The Bank does not charge for their cash machine services. Five NatWest Cash Machines are open 24 hours a day from Thursday 10am to Monday 12 noon, accepting all major debit and credit cards.

• 24-hour ATMs are situated near the Park Home Ground Medical Centre, near the John Peel Stage, and on the walkway between the Jazz World Stage and the Other Stage. These make a small transaction charge of £2.

Use the cashback facility at the stalls, plenty around these days...
