Get a taxi from the airport missus.

Also, you should be trying to get the earlier flight, get down there asap.

Get to the festival asap, especially if you're picking up your tickets there, I waited for mine for 4 hours last year!! but met lots of people and drank lots of cider in the queue so it was fun!

We did that Dublin - Bristol flight one year and hired a car, it works well but you defo should try an earlier flight, it will be busy Wed evening by the time you get down.

Also, you should think about your exit strategy, we missed our flight as we were 12 hours in the West carpark pushing cars through the mud...

I expect the ticket pick-up queue should be a lot shorter as a lot of overseas tickets have been posted.

Sounds like you have your flight booked already...........I would of advised getting the earlier flight.....Defo get a taxi to the site..........You may find someone on the same flight willing to split a taxi fare........Fare costs about £30 if i remember, could be more (ask before you get in and haggle a little if deemed too much, its a good fare for any taxi man!)..........Go on to the lift share threads and see if you can find someone with similar plans.............Could help a lot...........

If you can afford the taxi from the Airport to the festie you should do that, it will be a lot quicker than going all the way into Brizzle at that time of day. It could take you nearly an hour to get to Temple Meads and then another hour to get to the site on the bus.

Hi, im from Dublin and we have gotten that flight the last 2 years, the best thing to do is to get a taxi to the Royal Bath and West Showgrounds it doesnt cost that much between a few people, there are free Shuttle Buses going to the Festival site from there, this year were flying over on the Tues flight same time staying in a B&B, there is a lot of travelling involved so be prepared!!
