karlpowell
On Monday, we'll be posting the full Glastonbury lineup online from 10pm. You can be first to read this by signing up to our @guardianmusic Twitter page. Here are some other reasons to follow us ... 1) Our Twitter page will keep you up to date with all the news, reviews and ridiculous gossip over Glasto weekend. 2) You'll find out about all the blogs, podcasts and other cool stuff on our music site, even when Glastonbury isn't on. 3) You can see how bad our spelling is when we don't have a subeditor to go over our Tweets That is all. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/may/1...festival-lineup
glastofun
Precisely how will we keep up to date with stuff while we're on site?
TheSeventhOne
They're posting the whole line-up on Twitter? That'll take a bloody hour in itself!
pedmills
So wait hold on... Does this mean they are going to put a link on Twitter to a full page of the lineup? Or does it mean they are literally going to write down all the acts in little twitter messages? Because that would be f*cking stupid! sueg
I hope so. I've managed to avoid being a Twitter Tw@t thus far and don't want to start .
robith
As stated in a previous thread......the full line up will NOT be announced by the Guardian on Monday, but on Tuesday, which eFestivals has confirmed on Twitter and a previous thread. Is this thread not an excuse to get lots of people to follow you on Twitter? Why should anyone have to sign up to anything to get the full line up? sueg
I got the impression that Neil confirmed that the Guardian weren't going to print with the line-up until the Tuesday. As the print version will be all done and dusted on Monday evening it is quite possible that the Guardian will release the info on their site Monday evening. This is the second time the Guardian have said the Monday, and as an official media partner of the festival I would say their info should be pretty accurate. sueg
If you save me from having to follow who is shopping, in a mood, feeling unsure, and who has what bowel ailment, I'll allow an upgrade. To twerp at the very least . I think I might be showing my age here but why I do want to know that Stephen Fry has a dicky tummy this morning? Onus
Ah, I may well out of my depth then, as I don't get Facebook either. Jebus I come across as a right luddite!

karlpowell
But that link is to the gardian site and it is them who release it... NOT Neil .
mikeb
Well ... if they do start tw@tting it out on twitter, one l'il bit at a time and all that, starting at 2200 Monday when (presumably) Tuesday's issue has already been released for print, then it will still technically be *well* into Tuesday before the FULL line up is actually known I guess So that sounds like all bases suitably covered to me then and no doubt a better bet is to be near any one of the London stations around that kinda time (or is it actually printed up Manchester way ?) and buy/borrow an early edition if you're that desperate to know I'll just wait until I've got me hands on the programme and Ye Olde tent is up and sorted as per usual I think ... unless there is info particularly interesting, exciting or completely unexpected appearing somewhere round here of course !
