In all my years of going to Glasto I've never found any real soul or funk (with the exception of Isaac Hayes and James Brown). Given that every other style of music is covered.... where's the funk?

I think a new funk tent should be introduced and my first call for headliners would be George Clinton/Parliament and Maceo Parker with Fred Wesley. :D

We funk the funk! Give us the funk!

And I saw Fred about a month or two ago and seeing Maceo on Friday night! Woop woop! Pass the peas!

So in a perfect world what would be the line up?

oooh. I'd have to add this band too. I found them randomly late one night in Lost Vagueness at it was soooo kicking off! Awesome band.
