Does anyone know about tents?

Hi guys and girls,

My flatmate's tent was leaning against a radiator for a couple of months in the winter. Will the heat have affected its waterproofness?

It was quite an expensive tent, £70 ish for a 2-3 man so decent quality. I had one the same for Bestival last year and it kept us bone dry in the rain!

I'd guess that this effect the DWR on on it... Probably best to get a can of fabsil and spray it... not too expensive and won't do any harm.

Good call on Nikwax.

Unbelievably I out Thompson Waterseal on an old Vango Force10, and it is great
