Its gonna be really tough to get served and then get a spot to sit down under those beautiful flags? There seems to be so many people getting excited about heading there.

It is such a cool place to 'chillax' though.... i hope to see you all there.... Mine's a Strawberry Cider!!!

itll be fine. when we went last year, we were in and away in under a minute

didnt sit under the flags mind, but probably will this time

need to get us some culture at the jazz stage.

in comparison to bars at some other festivals ive been to most of the bars at glastonbury seem to be pretty quick to serve, and the lovely brothers people seem to have a particularly good system going even when its really busy (i.e. most of the time!)

mmm cant wait for that first icy cold lemon cider!!

Yeah, I too have queued for ages at some bars on site, half an hour once at the one around the corner from the cinema.

Never had to queue for more than a few minutes at Brothers.

It always is busy there anyway but they seem good at serving you quickly. :-)

Well its always our first stop after we have the Van settled, a good Full English to settle in and awning up. Never quite sure of the time, but it must be about lunchtime on the Weds when we head in, and its open then !! Nothing like a 4 pack of Brothers to welcome you to the Festival !

they open at 10am usually, trust me i have been waiting outside at 9.45 to find out

I often see people with the big bottles of brothers (2 litres or 1.5 litres or something). Where do you get these from? are they available at the Brothers bar? How much do they set you back?

unfortunately they don't sell them anymore - something to do with a licensing issue i believe.

i think a lot of e-festers will be taking their own bottles and funnels this year...

they didnt do bottles last year, although people said they would fill them if you took your own.

They did a 4 cup special though with holder ! Trouble with that is you had to drink them all quite quickly

That was 2007 only, they stopped it mid way through the weekend due to the rubbish caused (although rumour had it that it was over concerns about the amount consumed).

Didn't sell them last year.

My only problem with the Brothers Bar is that it's a bit of a scrum to get to the bar, which is fine because it doesn't take too long, but then you've got to get back through the scrum with your drinks. They could do with a few fences to make 'In' and 'Out' lanes.

It's one queue I actually enjoy being in. Always good music pumping out and a nice vibe going on. And quick - I think at worst it once took 10 minutes.

It always seems like you get served quicker there than at any other bar, maybe it's because I don't mind waiting there, but as said above, there's always decent music playing or someone to talk to.

I only remember there being a mahoosive queue on the Friday, last 2 years I've been on a Sat and Sun and it'sbeen fairly easy to get served
