They're pretty reasonable compared to the extortionate prices of other festivals. I once got charged £6 for a bottle of water at Reading, never going back there again.

Camera: Nikon D40

Exposure: 8 sec (8)

Aperture: f/5

Focal Length: 17 mm

ISO Speed: 1600

Exposure Bias: 0/6 EV

Exposure Program: Manual

I'll warn you though, once you start taking long exposure shots at festivals, it becomes addictive. Here's my most recent, from Wood this past weekend:

I'm using a D90 these days, and it's awesome. I do still love my D40 though, and for the price, it is a wonderful camera.

I always take an SLR to festivals, usually cos I'm providing pics for this site. With Glastonbury, I always put it in the lockup if I don't want to carry it / last thing at night. Better safe than sorry.

i ended up camping there at my first glasto in 02, we walked through the greenfields on thurs evening and it was the first place we found with space. never looked back,
