He prolly wont even reply to my last post because he knows im right

No, I won't reply to it cos there's nowt to reply to.

But I'm highly amused that you want a forum where "you could have a bit of humourous banter about things without people taking instant offence" yet take instant offence yourself to humourous banter thrown back at you.

Do grow up, eh?

Theres nothing funny about being told to f**k off...

Infact the only two times i've spoken to you you've been a total c**t, why?

It was a sarky comment. You're a sensitive little soul aren't you?

I have no memories of having previously told you to f**k off, but if I did, from your posts today, I can understand why I might have done. You like to dish it out, but can't take it back. Oh well.

Am i supposed to still be getting the old site of that link? or is my computer crap?

If you include the "home.aspx" bit after the domain, you still get the old site.

If you just use the domain - http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk - you get a "You are not authorized to view this page" message.

But I have to laugh ... a lot. How difficult is it to put a new website in place? Not difficult at all, and at most there should be no need but for it to be offline for more than a minute or two. Yet every time Glasto changes their website they have severe problems. It makes me wonder what sort of amateurs they're hiring.

I thought that its just a case of setting up the website offline, and then replacing the old one with a click of a few buttons, thats about the extent of my technological knowledge tho.

That really is all there is to it.

When efests changed to this new design at the beginning of the year - which required every single part of the site to have changes - there was no downtime of the website whatsoever, although there was a period of about 90 seconds when some features wouldn't have worked.

What did you expect? You posted a message saying this forum is rubbish compared to another.

Its like coming to my house that i take good care of and saying its not as good as next doors. Thanks mate.

The funniest thing about that statement of his is that if he'd have said the exact same thing about that other forum that he thinks was better, he'd have got instantly banned. Yet he's still here.

Maybe its taken so long because they're adding the official line up to it? seems like good timing?

(i love stirring up the rumor mill, i do so hope that loads of people have the same dizzy high thoughts about the line up announcements that i do)
