WANTED DESPERATELY! - TICKET WITH CAMPING!

Ok.. so here's what's happened...

Thursday 14th May, I was gonan order my ticket with family camping. Just the 1 weekend ticket.

My mother, who is a bit skint asked me if i could pay for her car insurance as it was due that day! So knowing i wa getting some more money on the Monday, and being the good samaritan that i am, i paid her insurance.

Monday comes, i go to the bank, check the money is in there (which it is ), then i procees to go home and log on to the download website to purchase my ticket.

Then I find out htta camping has sold out!!!

So now i have £200 cold hard cash sitting here for a download ticket with camping.

I NEED A TICKET!! ALL my friends are going, and i'm gonna be the only one left out. It's been a cr*p year for me so far, and it seems to be gettign worse! Lost my Job, Lost my house, lost my fiancee... why can't i just have a happy time for ONCE this year??

Anybody got a ticket for sale??

same here. two of our group left it too late and are now totally f**ked. they can't afford ebay or hotels, think they've been looking into staying at a nearby campsite, but dunno if they've had any luck...

still, f**king glad i got my ticket months ago.

ok.. week ago friday, i had a guy phone me up who saw my post on here and told me he had a ticket for sale and he just wanted what he paid for it.. (£180) so i agree, and sent the money... which got cashed the following day (Friday 22nd). He has since done a runner from what I can gather.. he won't answer my calls, keeps insisting that when he DOES answer the phone to me that the ticket's are "in the post" to me, and he gave me a tracking number for a recorded delivery that royal mail have no record of!

I Sent him a letter Special Delivery on Thursday 28th, and it reached him on Friday 29th. So there is no reason for him to not have sent the tickets.

So right now i feel out of pocket! :-(

Why do some people ruin it for the good people??

If he HAS done a runner I will name and shame him, but if it DOES turn out that royal mail have done a whoopsie, then I will apologise to him personally.

It just seem VERY iffy to me.

already informed the police. they told em to sennd the letter and give him 5 working days to get the tickets to me. THey saud that if i havent recieved them after that, they will investigate and prosecute for theft.

All i wanna do is go and have some fun with my friends! :-(

That totally sucks. I say give Call him and tell him if they aint in the post within 24 hours with a proper tracking number the police will be visiting him. You have his address.

Ok.. I recieved a letter today from the people who live at the address i was given.

I said i would name and shame.. The guys name is Steven Fisher.

He's a scammer.. he used somebody elses address. The letter i got said that they have never herd of a Steven Fisher, and that they have lived at the address for over 30 years!

So Steven, if you read this, you have 2 options.. PM me on here and refund me my money via PAYPAL, or get owned by the police!

did u pay via paypal then? if so you should report it to them.. you may even get back a bit of money compensation.. i know it's not exactly the full 200 notes but it might lessen the blow..

well.. i now have a ticket from a 2ns source... but i'm still gonna gothrough through with the police for the money back from the 1st source of Steven Fisher.

If you paid through paypal you can reclaim the money through them, it should be protected :angry: You need to initiate a claim with them :angry:

afraid to say the original payment wasn't through paypal :angry: although that's how i like to pay for things if i can.

but yeah.. i now have a ticket (in may hands!) and considering some of the prices people are paying on e-bay, looks like i've still paid LESS than them even by being scammed!

So if you didn't pay through paypal, how did you pay? if you sent a cheque then he obv lives at the address you sent it to. I'm confused...
