Going alone

Hello everyone,

This is my first post on a forum, so i apologise for the spelling and the waffling.

I have a little dilema, I went last year to glastonbury for the first time. I have talked about it for years but could never get my mate's arses into gear to do anything about it. Last year some friends were singing and i managed to blag some work. So free tickets, nice camping and a nice little job and some gorgeus weather made for the weekend off my life.

This year i can work again, however i don't rearly know anyone that is going, so i keep putting off the decision. However i know that rearly i want to go and have probly made my mind up.

Answered my own question, i think.

I am traveling up from Brighton on the thursday hopefully and back on the monday. I would be intersted to hear from anyone who might want to share transport and it's expenses. I do drive but am hoping to avoid doin so, it's the journey back i don't fancy.

So if anyone is intersted in a car share or if anyone has any opinions on going alone or is going alone plaese leave a message.

i want to go, none of my mates from home would, always excuses etc, went with them in 07

a mate from work is trying to get time off, but if he cant..:|

it just worries me a bit, being on my own all the time, like back at my tent on my own? maybe it will be a bit weird

It doesnt matter if you dont know anyone on here now! Go and camp with us all at ...and then you will!

Last year was my 3rd glasto and my best yet, mainly coz of the great folks I met from here at CT. at the riflemans on the tuesday etc.

Now I actually am glad no one I know wants to go, mainly as it means I can do the same again.

Imagine being able to go see the bands/things you want to see without your mates you came with moaning that they want to go and see so and so instead...its ace!
