I'd suggest getting Decade for starters, it should give you a good idea of what hes about, its a decent compilation all things considered, then pop Live Rust in to get a feel of him in the live environment.

I like Everybody's Rockin', but then I like Rockabilly (some of it anyway).

Apparently Geffen were disappointed with what he was recording, so they asked for a rock n roll album. Now Neil knew they didn't want a real rock n roll album, but as they couldn't really explain what they wanted (they probably just wanted a hit/rock album), he thought, well rockabilly is as rock n roll as anything so I'll do that... and they didn't like it!

you'll never know with old shakey. saw him at fleadh in finsbury park in 2001 and he noodled feedback for 2 hours, didn't say a word and walked off. 2 weeks later at roskilde he played close to 3 hours and absolutely murdered it...one of the best gigs off my life....but i am sure the old hippie is up for glasto and its going to be one of the highlights of the week
