ampersand
I ain't a cider drinker so I could be well wide of the mark here, but I thought perry and pear cider were two different things? Perry has no apples in it!?
Alcatraz
nah dont think so. in the mark watson ad anyway, he says that he wants a pear cider made with nothing but pears. think its just better for selling. its cool to order a cider, who orders perry? The Klumpster
At the risk of being a pedant, as I understand it Brothers is pear cider because it is made from apples but has pear flavourings. Perry is actually cider made from pears Personally if I'm being hoodwinked by a marketing campaign I really don't care, the stuff has a real connection to Glasto for most and provides a really nice 'stoned' kind of p1ssedness. And the guy who said he can't afford it so he sticks to Fosters; my friend, you are epitomising a false economy

irons
It's luverly stuff, specialy on tap at some festivals. Went into my local shop as they usualy have festival strength. My face dropped when they had none. My gf (the lovely girl) just brought 6 bottles back from Morrisons for me, i could've kissed her. Maybe I should later I suppose. Yorkshire Chomper
The misses can't stand any beer/lager/cider. But she loves Brothers Pear Cider. She drank it while pregnant and now our kid is counting to 12 at age 2. (wheres my promotion pack)
HenrysCat
Clearly it promotes brain stimulus in unborn children, give brothers a research grant I'll head the team!
pehaw
Brothers is alright but I much prefer Henneys Vintage. It's the business.
Sam Crawley
For me, part of it is that it's not something that's readily available elsewhere during the year. Yes I know that you can get it in bottles but it's just not the same as drinking a pint of draft at Jazz World. I make a point of avoiding the bottled stuff just because it means that it stays something that is special for Glastonbury. Like turkey at Christmas in a way only nicer
Discoduck
All this talk of Brothers is making me wanna sneakily try a sip or two - and i'm totally teetotal
markeee
i don't drink cider ever except at festivals, and then it's pear cider all the way!
ahardbattle
I hadn't touched cider in years until Glasto last year when those lovely Brothers gave me a free couple of pint tokens - Little Buggers got me hooked with a free sample, now I'm hideously addicted Can't wait for that 1st cold one on the Wednesday afternoon! jonny1882
Have to say I'm a little nervous of the cider love at the festival. Have not been able to touch a drop since a very bad experience on it in my younger days. Is it time to get over it and join the masses with their Brothers or do I risk getting shunned at the Cider Bus Meet by sticking to my usual pint?? Have to say the festival strengthness looks like it will ease the pain!!
LostRiot
It tastes really good, but then lots of drinks taste really good, I think the reason it is loved so much is largely because until recently you couldn't get it anywhere other than Glastonbury, and its just a great summer drink that just seems to work so well at Glastonbury. Wednesday afternoon, straight to the brothers bar, sit around in the jazz world field get a bit pissed, get a bit stoned, head up to the stone circle (or as of last year, the bit above the park stage). Its just how glastonbury begins.
