after a long night at the stone circle on friday night , finally got back to the tent at 9am then dossssszzed off then got woken up to shaken stevens , my ears drums were a messed up anyway from the night before , and it sounded rocking

cracked open another beer then started as we mean to go on

looking forward to this year like no one would believe

shlomo in the park. went back to the tent for an afternoon nap, woke up to what I thought was some good d&b, turns out it was shlomo - very impressed, and what a great way to be woken up!

i woke up, and headed trancelike down to the pyramid...brilliant he was.

and then a year later I find out that he plays every tuesday at the place next door to my local in Washington, DC!

Sometime on Monday morning, 2007, feeling broken, pissed off with the never ending rain and the thought of an arduous "get out" looming as I hid in my tent, Worthy FM played "The Sun Always Shines on TV". I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I can still remember the moment, singing along my head - probably delirious.

I've had many many more very happy wake ups, but that's the one that's etched in. Still, the pain of 2007 made 2008 all the sweeter
