Camping Ticket Question

One of my friends decided not to use his brain when buying a ticket from ticketmaster and has bought a weekend ticket, but not including camping. I told him i thought he would be able to "upgrade" when he got there but checked the website and not so sure if thats the case:

Can I buy a camping ticket when I arrive?

Yes. Providing the campsite is not fully booked you will be able to purchase a ticket at the entrance box offices. Please do not buy tickets from anyone else as we have a very rigid ticket inspection system in place this year. Space is limited so we advise you buy before you arrive!

Does this mean that you can upgrade when you get there or that you can buy a full ticket when you get there? Anyone got any experience with this? He has emailed the rockness staff but who knows they will get back to him!

Also, does anyone how much it costs for the upgrade? Is it just the difference in price between a camping and non-camping ticket?

i emailed asking, because sumone done the same and was gona buy there ticket for cheaper and do the upgrade! they got bak to me with..

"You should be able to upgrade your ticket by contacting your ticket agent and doing it that way."

so i decided against that and just got one myself!.. seems like he has no idea!

i asked the same question, got the same answer and managed to upgrade my ticket no problems....!!

Its ticketmaster's fault as they dont seem to know arm's from elbow's...!
