Line up dissapointment (but not a moan)

I think the line ups great but last year didn't think it was so great and still had a fab festival.

There's only one band that I'm excited about. There's maybe 6 or 7 others I want to see.

I was really hoping for just one (more) band I love and don't get to see often. Sonic Youth, Broken Social Scene, Modest Mouse... Sonic Youth even said they wanted to play! It's all a bit middle of the road, nothing that exciting past the headliners...

Very poor line up this year IMO, probably would have been better about a decade ago when most of these bands were in their prime

I'd agrue that the dance acts are very middle of the road this year (give or take a few things), lots of boring old timer house djs. Where's the exciting nu-disco/bands/djs?

He probably means nu-(sponsored by the f**king NME)rave. The dance lineup is tip top. Plenty of people playing who still fill dance clubs throughout the land: Jamie Jones, Timo Maas, Erol, Prydz, Evil Nine and Adam Freeland to name just a few.
