I've asked everyone i know in the last 3 days, if you had a choice, prodigy or blur.....

no-one said blur out of maybe 50/60 people

even my dad said prodigy

so im asking this question to nail it for me......

have you ever been to...

a bad blur show

a bad prodigy show

or are both always on it?

ps sorry for another prodigy blur thread..but it is a forum of discussion and it would get lost in other threads i feel

Seen blur twice and both times they were great. I have seen the prodigy 3 times and twice they were rubbish. The infamous storm of stage at Glastonbury then witnessed them pull the same stunt at Leeds.

I think many people will say the prodigy as they have just had a new album out and seem to be every where at the minute. The same cannot really be said for blur.

I am going to see blur.

Blur for me. Seen em both twice before and whilst they were both excellent both times I don't think Prodigy will be able to add anything new whereas Blur definitely will - Graham Coxon!! Plus, after 5 exhausting days I'd rather sing my heart out than dance like a loon on my last night.

Leisure was the album that got me into indie music and Jilted was the album that got me into dance music so its a very tough choice though.

My experience is that Prodigy are awesome indoors, but outdoors they just don't cut the mustard.

Ive never seen Blur but ive seen The Prodigy a good few times and they really do get a crowd going. Ive seen them outdoors twice and indoors once and they are an act that can pull it of nicely both indoor and out. I must say though i didnt really think much of them at T last year, when i say that it wasnt really them but mainly because the crowd was filled with drug fiends searching for scraps but they f**king rocked it and i think them closing The Other Stage will be a pretty good way to end the weekend.

I ADORE Prodigy, but I am going to see Blur. My reasoning being that I've never seen Blur and I might never see them again, I've seen Prodigy 3 times, going right back to Experience, and I'm seeing them at Leeds fest in August. Still gutted as they are my second favourite band ever* :)

*first is QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE :):(

Blur were always awesome live......a top notch band that expands the bigger the audience. Prodigy seem good at the smaller more intimate jumpabouts.

I seriously believe that blur will be one thats talked about for years to come....and will/ may not be repeated.....therefore on that basis it is Blur for me...and my tribe ( the kids play their greatest hits album as if it where made yesterday). :P:(:P:D:):):D

Ive only seen prodigy once way back when and they were superb. I was having my doubts about finishing my fest at the other stage earlier in the thread, but shall trust the words of two people I genuinely think know the score :)

I've loved Blur the 3 times I've seen them, indoors and outdoors. The prodge I saw at Reading 96 and was incredible but as much as I love their first 2 and a half albums I just think the Prodigy will be a let down. Even though I'm seeing Blur the week after I think I'll still see them on the Pyramid. My mind may completely change depending on my Sunday mood but I just think Blur have the capacity to give one of the great most memorable Pyramid perfomances
