Clashfinder 2009

As a test, I've made a slight change to the presentation of the clashfinder on the Friday page. I've made the grey bars a little fatter so they're wider than the text boxes. The idea was to try to give stronger horizontal lines, especially on the dance stages, which tend to have back-to-back acts.

Does anyone have any strong feelings about the change? Does it print okay on your hardware? Should I roll out Friday's change to the rest of the clashfinder or revert Friday back to the old presentation?

I think I prefer the old layout, it looks cleaner. On my printer it forms a double-line. But I don't have too strong a feelings either way!

I was just on Blue Roses myspace page and noticed she had a couple times up, so I had a quick look around and found a few more, not sure if its any help to you in dribs and drabs so feel free to ignore it

I suppose you better ignore the 20:00 hours ones as well

I feel that, when you've got a stage with gaps in the set times, you've got a nice strong line that runs through the clashfinder. On the dance stages the structure falls apart a little because there aren't any gaps.

Halvin, I would say to leave the gaps.

To be honest when talking about dance acts and DJ sets you find it hard to know who is on the decks or not. Even if you got the times a bit wrong no one would really know.

The only way I know what act is on is by looking at what time it is...even then it is still just a guess.

Excellent work as alway Halvin. However the Dance Lounge should go on later than 12 on Friday and the G stage should finish at 12 on Sunday.

I might try only increasing the height of the bars by a line width, that way you won't get double-lines but you will get a slightly stronger structure.
