The getting a job part is the clincher for me! 3 weeks to find some money or else it's back to Oz by July...which isnt actually a bad thing really! :)

I promised myself not to but weather checking is sure to get out of hand again this year. Yes I know that all the forecasts are generally useless until we get to a week before and yes I know that even then they can still change dramatically at the last minute.

Having said that there could be some 4 week forecasts knocking around so I might just have to pop over to the weather thread for a quick look............... :)

So excited! Just spent the weekend in the Sussex Downs, testing our new tent. It works really well in both blistering heat and the torrential downpour that was Monday morning. Better still, I now know exactly what accessories might be useful.

Still have to sort out a new torch, sun-creme, waterproofs and a fold-away water bottle, alcomahol, sweets and a cloning machine, to take care of those nasty clashes.

:)

* Wait for tickets to arrive

* Fix the zip on my cargos

* Buy and sort out booze e.t.c.

* Repack & check tent (its been airing for the last few months in the attic)

* Wash & dry sleeping bags

* Buy new rucksack (the one I've used for the alst few years has seen better days)

* Make new to-do list every few days

* Make and constantly change playlists for the journey

* Learn annoyingly catchy, campsite singalong songs on guitar

Argh. I need to:

- Go home (to Doncaster) and get my car and drive it back here (London...eek!)

- Check all our stuff from last year is still okay e.g. airbed still puncture free etc

- Get all food and drink supplies

- Get all other supplies

- Wash sleeping bags

- Get some cheap dresses etc from Primark

- Get a trolley!

This thread has made me a bit stressed, there are only something like 28 days to go!

* Buy suncream for my pasty self (hopes this won't jinx the weather)

* Stock up on Booze

* Try not to spend my measly wage before the end of the month

* Buy some new wellies (old ones have finally died - boo)

* Sort out travel to said festival

* Attempt to cut my own fringe (this could go horribly wrong)

BTW skittle vodka sounds AMAZING!

Test my wellies (I'm sure they let in snow in the winter)

Buy suncream (I will be prepared for all weather)

Start to buy toiletries (baby wipes, Batiste, etc)

Find a new job ( I hate the one I am in and is making me ill, so looking forward to Glasto to have a break from it all)

Lose a stone (is this possible in 4 weeks?)

There is probably more but that is all I can think of at the min! I waterproofed the tent at the weekend, and I also wished that the weather at Glasto will be like the weather Nottm had on Sunday! Beautiful sunshine!

Sounds ace! It's funny how many us need jobs, we should start a company lol. lol @ black jack vodka (mental image of trying to put a deck of cards in the bottle - yeah yeah I know, not that kind of blackjack)

Skittles vodka is ace, DO NOT forget to take the green and yellow skittles out before mixing, I usually make a smaller lemon and lime vodka with them but they don't taste good mixed with the others.
