Glastonbury line-up

Guest eFestivals

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a clash checker for this year's line up? In previous years some kind soul had created a matrix for the line-up that shows the likely times of the performances and clashes.

Thanks,

actually, I'd be surprised if it's not - the Guardian guide normally only has a limited number of the stages listed.

The Glastonbury lineup over 3-4 days is rubbish apart from Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Doves, Gaslight Anthem.. it wouldn't be worth going at all if it wasn't for these acts.

Bruce is at Hyde Park. Gaslight Anthem - I've just seen at the Forum a week back and are also surpporting Bruce in Hyde Park + Reading Fest' appearance, Doves I saw at Reading and Southampton during the Kingdom of Rust tour, Neil Young and Pearl Jam at Reading 1995, can't beat that.

The Glastonbury Festival is pointless unless you like camping in field full of shit.

Nope, thank god, I haven't!! far to much effort to make it enjoyable.

Let's face it all festivals are complete shit, bands only play half arsed sets, there's far to many people to make watching any band an enjoyable experience.

Seeing a big band in a small venue will always beat any festival performance. f**k festivals.

Festivals are for the people who don't get to gigs much, a cheaper way of seeing some of the bands they like. Poor mans holiday.... "Butlins with live music"

Swinning is what the internet calls a troll

He is deliberately posting this stuff to try and wind us up and antagonise us. Swinning, it's obviously not taking effect, so give up ok?

But on the otherhand, if that really is your opinion, then you are entitled to it. However I disagree with it, I would if I were you try going to a small festival like Blissfeilds, I've heared alot of good things about it and the vibe and atmosphere is really friendly, plus it only costs £45.00! Once you've brought a ticket to Blissfeilds, you will have (hopefully) completely changed your mind about your opinions on modern day festivals. Not every festival is like Reading and Leeds, I can promise you that.

Cheers,

I agree it's just trying to wind us up. According to his signature he's been to 14 festivals, which is more than I have. I can't imagine somebody that's been to more festivals than me not actually liking them.

Then again, the festivals he has been to are ones that can all be done relatively easily without camping, whereas you can't really do Glasto without camping. Maybe he's just a tent-dodging lightweight.
