I'm 19, first Reading was 2007. I think the line ups pretty average, but amazing as I'm working so don't have to pay :) But I would be disappointed if I had paid, I'd have wanted to go to something like Bestival instead.

NB. I'm surprised at how young people on here are

26, first Reading was 2001 and have been ever since.

The line-up is now nicely balanced for me. Few acts i have seen before (and want to see again) and few that i haven't seen.

Also, they aren't in one stage/tent (i like to walk between tents) and there will be times where i can go to the bar without missing bands i want to see.

So, all in all, i am pleased.

18 / This will be my first Leeds / Loving the line-up

Having only done Wireless before, I knew when I got my ticket there'd be loads of big bands I haven't yet seen that could pop up at Leeds. Main draw for me is Radiohead but also excited about Prodigy, AM, YYYs, VW, Bloc Party, Placebo, Maximo Park, Jamie T and getting into Billy Talent.

Only thing about the line-up I don't like is the Radiohead/Lostprophets and AM/Rise Against clashes :)

I'm 28. Went to Leeds in 2001 and 2002, then every Reading from 2003 onwards. I think this is the least excited I have been about the lineup of any year.

AFI and probably Deftones will be quality, but other than that there is no band that excites me really. There certainly isn't a band that I have never seen live before to get excited about like other years I have been.

It's just all fashionable music that could easily be seen at V Festival last or next year. Not really what I liked about Reading and why I have kept going for 9 years now. Reading always catered to a wide audience, which was why it was so good, but it is being diluted. Iron Maiden will always be unfashionable but will always be one of the best live bands in the world.

It's not a huge thing to me as I go to Download for the music, but a lot of my mates go to Reading so it's always a good laugh, even if it is overrun by middle class teenagers showing off how "grown up" they are and generally very average music.

18/ First reading was 2007/ the line up is alright, there are a few shocking bookings but there'l be enough for me to see i guess, i would love a bit more variation though and i feel really sorry for rock/metal fans who brought a ticket this year, you got f**ked in the ass by the corporate tank.

19/2003/The lineup is the best since I started going.

Stop going on about "fashionable" bands. I don't like Radiohead, Kings Of Leon and Arctic Monkeys because they're fashionable I like them because they make great music. I think what you actually mean is "popular" but that doesn't fit in with the negative tone of the message so people use "fashion".

i'm 27 and my first reading was 2001.

i disliked the lineup so much on announcement i flogged the presale ticket i'd bought last yr to my mate (for face value before anyone starts! B) )

there's still very few bands i really like, and no-one i've not seen.

really AFI, Lostprophets & Radiohead (clash city there...) and the prodigy

and mebe placebo & deftones (tho both were dull last time i saw them)

and everyone raving about the lock up? there's only bouncing souls and rival schools for me!!

45 - First Reading was 1993, Leeds from 1999 onwards (back to Reading 2006 for old times sake)

Been in a group of 20+ and went on my own and met mates there

None of us bought a ticket when they went on sale this year as the line up was weak. However, the line up has been getting better and better, so three of us bought weekend tickets from See yesterday and we'll meet up with mates, so there should be 7 or 8 of us aged between 44-48

Friday - Lock Up All Day

Saturday - NME (and/or Dance Tent) with Brand New on Main Stage

Sunday - Four bands in the Lock Up (IMO it's the poorest Lock Up day line-up I've ever known), and the rest of the day will be NFG, FFAF, Deftones and FNM
