I slowly got into the scripts album over the last year - I thinks its well written and performed.

Ive heard all of the "pop" criticism, and i think its unfair.Some of their music reminds me of early Beatles.It has a reflective quality at times.

If Robbie Williams can do it - why not the script?

P.S.

I did just try listening to them again just to check and nope the Beatles they are not, scouting for girls, the feeling and maroon 5 (not good in my ears) they are, but each to there own.

Are they not a group of average musicians with a singer who sounds like Sting singing the songs Maroon 5 turned down as too poor!

ive gotten drunk with dan and mark a few times when they came up supporting various average sized bands, quite annoying last year they were supporting newton faulkner licking his arse and look the comparison in the two stage slots.....they are good enough lads and all and i think they are a good enough band....but in my opinion i dont think they are good enough for a stage that size yet./..

I got this CD off my employer for Christmas I don't know what they were thinking! I have told them time and time again that I like music like Dylan, Marley, Floyd, Young etc....It was very hard to smile and appear grateful.

I'm Irish, and extremely patriotic...irrationally proud of most things we produce here...but The Script are shockin'....ok, I'll take that back slightly and admit they're not to my taste and acknowledge that maybe others will enjoy them...no, actually they're shockin'.
