Best tent buy for Glasto?

I'm just about to buy a new two man for the festi and wondered if anyone had any tips?

I was looking at this for £40.

Not too bad. I've already bought an air bed then read in FHM that one of the 20 things that are a sign of getting old include "taking a blow up mattress to a festival" :)

I got a six man three room tent from eBay £44. Had it up for a few days in the spring in my back garden. It had rained and been quite windy but there were no telltale puddles of water in the bedrooms of it so will put on a layer of waterproofing just to make double sure and I think it's a bargain!

I've always found Eurohike dome tents ideal cos

1 - they're cheap and cheerful

2 - you don't need to use the guy ropes unless it's blowing a gale - less chance of people tripping and falling on your tent

3 - they dont leak - mine survived the Pennards hill flood of 2005, didn't let a drop in

get one with a porch though so you can have a wet area and a dry area (just in case)

Bought this for Bestival last year - it's huge and perfect for 3 people and all our stuff. We had a really wet day and there was no signs of damp at all. Would definitely recommend it as an investment as planning for it to last me a few festival seasons!

Something that's struck me about these circular pop up tents, they're circular! Does anyone roll them? (after you've gotten out of the car/bus obviously, I guess you couls get 3/4 four of them and try constructing something you could sit in...)

I agree with the guys if you've got a decathlon near you then def have a look at Quechua pop up tents, i've had one for four years, a 3 second Xl air, (which i think they've stopped making now)

i don't think you'll get better value for money & there so easy and popular these days, and just noticed that they deliver these days! have a look :)
