If Gus won I wouldnt have complained though, with a perfomance like that he would have beaten most past champions imo.

I watched hendo vs shogun when it was live and a few times after, it was a great fight and it was more all round than the jones gus fight, but I like striking more than the artwork on the ground...unless its a high level bjj against someone with hardly any defence, always like a good submission win

TUF is fucking awful, the standard with the vast majority of the girls is shocking. Even Roxy, a 10 year veteran - and undoubtedly a lovely girl, her striking was like watching a teenage girl try and fight. I'm sure her BJJ is amazing, as everyone says, but her cardio was also plainly lacking in a big way.

But most annoyingly of all is Rousey, a girl I really liked initially (and not because of how she looks at all) but her pathetic posturing and bitching and chest puffing is childish in the extreme, and very very annoying. I sincerely hope Meisha Tate fucking armbars her when they fight, after smashing her smug, entitled face about a bit.

I think Machida will win and maybe fight Gus some time around February, winner gets Jones after he beats Texiera.

Anyone watch Glory from chicago over the weekend? I have only seen the first bout so far, but it was great. Its a tournament style muay thai fight card, so the winner has to win 2 fights in one night. Will be watching the rest this afty hopefully.

Great fights, I watched the replay and stayed away from anywhere that could ruin the results for me. I thought the DC-Nelson fight would have been abit more entertaining but I guess not. Main event was great, I watched a Gracie Breakdown on youtube of the ending of the fight. Never realized that JDS was going for a front rear naked choke as Rener Gracie called it. Unlucky that the canvas can knock Dos Santos out but Cain cant

I dont think Werdum will get close to beating Cain, so maybe Cain vs JDS 4 soon?

I dont think the UFC would give someone on a losing streak like him a fight against the current number 1 contender (although JDS just lost in my eyes he is better than most other heavyweights) Maybe winner of Browne-Barnett gets JDS and winner of Overeem-Mir gets the loser, with the loser of Overeem-Mir unfortunately getting cut. Off the top of my head I dont know if that would work schedule wise but it would set up a niceseries of fights
