The arrogance of UFC is starting to become clear. They seem to be of the opinion that boxing is dead. Boxing is a sleeping giant. All boxing needs is a good Mayweather/Manny fight and the Klitschko/Jennings fight in MSG to drum up some interest. Which it will. Jennings is unbeaten. As is Fury who is due to fight the winner. Theres Wilder now who is also unbeaten. Potentially 3-4 very good heavyweight fights this year. In America.

Throw in McGregor losing, Jones losing and another couple of failed drug tests and they're in big trouble.

Interesting stuff from GSP about PEDs in the sport and declining a fight with Silva because of it. Its an open secret basically.

They're in danger of becoming like cycling or track and field.

I doubt GSP's claim that he retired because of other fighters using PED's. I really like him, and genuinely think he did the right thing when he retired. I'm sure I read he took more blows to the head than any other fighter during his career. He went out on top, his legacy is intact, and now he can live the rest of his life in a very comfortable position.

The points he makes about PED's and their widespread use are very believable, I do however doubt he suspected Silva was juicing. I dont think anyone saw that coming at all.

Hes taken a few blows I yeah but who knows what the fighters know about each other? Could have been told "Stay clear of him hes on PEDs" by someone in his camp?

They held a presser tonight to address the PEDs issue. Lorenzo said fighters failing for first time could be suspended for 2 years, possibly 4.
