Actually, I never even thought about crocop, that would be a UFC 200 fight without a doubt.

Both past their prime but would put on a great fight again (hopefully).

Nobody would believe a Fedor hype train in 2015 surely.

Can he not just fuck off?

Fans that have followed MMA for a while would, and just a highlight reel of Fedor could get people to believe in his hype. If I was him I wouldnt come back to fighting. I highly doubt this being the case, but with his brothers convictions, that could have influenced his decision to try come back...maybe money or salvage the family name?

Dana has been asked about the question, but YouTube says the video is not available to me, if anyone can get it to work the link is "h(remove this bit)ttps://youtu.be/KdwH8uZOucA"(May contain spoilers on Mir-Duffee, so dont risk it if you dont want to), so I dont know what Dana has said about the possibility of Fedor in the UFC.

WSOF say they could afford Fedor but I think they are just saying it to get publicity. Fedor could come back for a few years and have a few dream fights but I do think he would lose to Werdum again, and to Cain. Cro Cop would be interesting though.

Thoroughly enjoyed UFC Glasgow, missed the first fight simply because it started bang on 3:00, and we only arrived at the hotel at 2:15.

What on paper appeared to be a fairly uninspiring card, turned out to be 9 or so very good fights. I've yet to rewatch Bisping properly, but we had him down as thoroughly losing it.

not convinced the Hydro is a great venue for MMA though, weird shape etc etc.

Very light on "people spotting", although I met Scroobius Pip, which was nice. Never actually sat in our own seats at all, stood at the back of the floor for most of it, as the seating made it almost impossible to see inside the cage properly, then for the main event - I sneaked into the VIP area, and sat in there, later moving and sitting next to John Gooden ( I was pissed by then, so I shook his hand and shut my gob so as to not waffle him to death/bore him by rambling)

Yeah I had a great time, crowd were fantastic. I was shocked BIsping won, a couple of folk I spoke to while leaving said the same but watched it back and it's a close fight, Bisping wins at least 3 rounds IMO.

My seats ended up being the back row of the ground floor, still a great view, dead centre to the cage and next to the entrance, so quick access to the bar and toilet. Only thing is about 6ft behind me was the next seating plan (30 quid cheaper) so felt a bit cheated haha.

He was cool, very humble, genuinely appreciative when I told him I loved the podcast. It was very brief - between fights, just before the bisping fight so I didnt want to be taking up his time or spoiling his enjoyment of the build up.

Didnt see anyone else of note, i didnt even see Clay Guida - who I know was there, cos we spoke to people who met him in the pub the night before.

Schaub has been speaking about it a lot recently on his podcast and also when him and Callen were on Rogan's before the last ppv. He said he would burn his reebok shoes and throw them in the trash haha Schaub keeps hinting at retirement, that "talk" from Rogan obviously registered with him, he makes a killing off The Fighter And Kid anyway.

I saw Clay Guida from a distance, standing near the commentary area signing autographs.

What's the prediction for this weekend? Barao to bounce back I hope.

Nah, I see TJ burying him again. I think he's a great fighter. Dont get me wrong, Barao is no slouch, but I think TJ has it all. As well as the psych advantage.

Schaub is pissing me off. I know he's young, and riding high on the wave of success they are having with TFATK, but he is becoming so fucking arrogant, and so self satisfied that he is making dollar without having to fight. I agree in principle with his take on the reebok deal, but the way he talks down to Callen now, cutting him short and dismissing his views winds me up, and the way he kind of dismisses fighters need to fight to earn is making him sound "douchey".

But I think the one thing that pisses me off the most is the fact that he talks on any subject as if he knows everything, when in fact he is actually quite dim.

I actually think he is unofficially cut anyway. I doubt hes expecting a call from Dana any day, nor do I think he will be in any of Danas plans for the foreseeable either. And lets face it, he wasn't even that good of a fighter anyway.

Lawler vs Condit! Not officialy announced but being reported. Hendricks/Woodley too.

Presumably winner of Hendricks/Woodley gets title shot, and Rory gets loser of Lawler/Condit if he stays out that long.

As for TJ/Barao I see TJ stopping Barao within the first 3 as long as he gets a good start like in the first fight

Was a brilliant main card

Get healthy soon Dom Cruz, him against TJ is what we all want to see. Only thing is Cruz might not be back for a while so I see TJ defending again, would love to see Frankie Edgar move down as he ism't getting a title show at FW any time soon.

Yeah main card was very good. Barbosa fight was brilliant, Joe Lauzon cemented himself as one of the good guys, and TJ did exactly what I thought he would. His movement is fantastic. Dunno what Barao does now, he might well have to move up a weight class, he gassed very quickly, and whilst he showed signs of being dangerous - he really wasnt in the same ballpark as TJ IMHO.

Meisha did a decent job, but the difference in skillsets between the men and the women is still vast, especially watching the Meisha fight straight after the Barbosa fight. Meisha actually stepping into Eyes half guard baffled me. And none of them are even close to being able to beat Ronda. She could have finished both of those girls, one after the other in the first round.

Bethe is gonna learn a hard lesson on Saturday IMHO.

Ronda could beat most of the women in the UFC two at the same time. That would be more competitive  :P Meisha then someone, then Cyborg at UFC 200, sounds like a plan :P

I cant believe that people are even giving Bethe a cat in hells chance this weekend. Don't get me wrong - she is doing her best to sell the fight, but for her to genuinely think she has a chance she is deluding herself. She has only been fighting a  couple of years, Honda was armbarring suckers in the olympics when she was in nappies FFS.

She is something else, expected her to win but not to be so dominating on the feet. An ok ppv but haven't watched the prelims yet. Hopefully watch them later tonight.

Big Nog has retired and rightly so, looked awful.

Thought Shogun/Lil nog could have went either way but happy to finally see Shogun win again.

Enjoyed it in the most part. Theres no-one for Ronda to fight. She might as well just retire until they find someone worthy of her skills. And anyone who says "Cyborg" is deluded, Ronda is right, why should she possibly tarnish her record by fighting a known steroid abuser who couldn't make her weight class?

I actually enjoy the walkout and build up of Rondas fights more than the destruction, I love the way she rages to the cage, blank in the eye, and slaps her body in preparation, no hype, no showboating - just business.

I disagree, Cyborg is the only real test out there. If you want to be regarded as the best fighter of your Generation you need to fight the best, it's why Mayweather had to face Pac. If he didn't everyone would say "he's great but he never fought Pacquaio" that fight did happen too late but it still happened, same thing will happen with Rousey.

I don't see the problem with a 140 catch weight. It's the fight everyone wants and the only Rousey fight anyone truly cares about. If she beats Tate again, who does she fight? Holm or a rematch with Cat. The division is more or less cleaned out so time to make the super fight.

Why should Rousey have to go up to 140? It proves f**k all about her being the best 135 fighter on the planet. You'd be as well asking her to go up to 145 or 155 to prove a point. It means absolutely nothing.

It's up to Cyborg to move down. She's the one who constantly makes the noises about it after all.
