really? You can't get a better replacement than this. it's  not for title because Silva isn't in shape to go 5 rounds with two days notice.

Tate/Nunes is main event now. I wouldn't be surprised if people leave as all the big fights which people are more invested in are before it . Soeculation. Rousey will come in cage for a staredown.

I think it's unfair to see he is done, he went 5 rounds with the current MW champ and lost a close fight, one that I think he would have won if he didn't fuck about so much. He hasn't even trained for this fight though and DC is a beast. Anything can happen though but hard to pick against DC.

Nothing true about the Rousey thing, just a couple of journalists speculating.

Miesha Tate just made the deadline to weigh-in this morning by a minute, if she missed it the fight would have been off. She did make weight but needed to strip to make it. Hendrick missed weight, he always has problems, time to move to 185.

Fights should be good tonight. Think JJ will win but hope Gadelha pulls it off.

I'm a bit peckish so might stay up as late as prelims but kinda wanting to watch the main show tomoz when my mates are round waiting for 200 prelims...but I'll probs end up watching it all tonight so I can still use this thread tomoz lol.

 

Did my predictions with the work lads today and backing Hunt in two rounds, Tate Nunez to be a war with Tate winning, fancy Aldo due to the fact he's so desperate to get back at Conor, DC ftw and Velasquez to lose.

I agree Tate Nunes will be a war for the first three rounds but if Nunes doesn't finish inside three I think she'll gas like Claudia did last night and Tates experience will take over. 

I'm most looking forward to Aldo Edgar, think this is the best Edgar has looked and can't see past him tbh.

Average show spectacle wise due to fighters sticking to game plans which didn't allow for chances or spectacular finishes. 

DC did exactly as expected, even in a non title fight he wasn't willing to stand up and go strike for strike against silva, as if he lost silva would want a title fight with a full camp.

Nunes is an absolute animal early on, she fucked Tate up and the way she took her back for the submission, taking her time to control her legs and get them hooked, was superbly done, performance of the night for me

Apparently Brock is listed as an active competitor with UFC and will continue to be tested by USADA.

Doesn't mean anything regarding him fighting again. The way USADA operate is if you aren't officially retired then you are subjected to testing at any time. If Brock  decides to retire then wanted to come back he would need to notify them 4 months in advance so he can be tested prior to returning. The reason he got away with this before was because he retired before the ufc were even working with USADA so they granted him an exemption.

 

The card on wednesday was superb. Tony Ferguson fight was insane.

 

Bellator in London tomorrow night and is live on Spike UK and then on  Channel 5.
