For those who had their address changed...

A little story concerning my ticket which may interest some of you...

First of all, I live in Mexico so my ticket was to be send here.... I registered back in October and paid my balance in January.... at first I registered my home address, but after a few weeks I realised there will be no one at home to sign for the ticket, so I had the address changed to my Grandma's house where there would be someone for sure. This was done in late March. In late April, checking my order details again, I noticed seetickets wrote the country name wrong... minor detail I thought but better be safe than sorry and I asked for that to be amended. This started a 3 week hell in which seetickets managed to f**k up the address 4 times (3 times the postal code, one the house number). Finally by May 11 they got it right.

Yesterday, I received my ticket. It was in a yellowish envelope in my house mailbox. It was sent on the 19 of May. No need for it to be signed, and more importantly, it arrived in my home. Yes, the address I first asked seetickets to change in late March and which they did. In the order tracker the address is my grandma's one and it says the ticket is still in stock and waiting to be despatched.

Of course, I'm glad and overly happy to have my ticket in my hands, but can't help but wonder what if I didn't live here anymore. Hope my case is an isolated one and seetickets didn't f**k up with anyone else but I think it was worth a mention here.

See can be particularly shite. Last year I ordered some tickets for my girlfriend for the Foo Fighters gig at City Of Manchester stadium cos she works in a shop and couldn't be at a computer when they went on sale. Think the tickets went on sale in November when the gig was the next June and I asked them to be sent to my office so I could sign for them.

On the Thursday before the gig (which was on a Monday) they finally sent them out but Royal Mail then promptly sent them back to See because they hadn't put my company name on the address, so it was apparently therefore undeliverable even though we're the only company on the 4th floor which was on the address!) The company name was also on the ticket tracker!!!! "Not to worry" said the man at See when I phoned them "...just pick them up at the venue and hour before doors open, you'll need some ID and the card that you paid with". Now that wouldn't be a problem normally but I wasn't even going to the bloody gig and in the 7 months between ordering the tickets and the gig's date I'd cancelled my card!!!! Seeing as the doors opened at 2pm, not only did I need to take a day off but I also had to trawl through all my old stuff to find a statement to prove who I was to only then hand the tickets over for a gig that I now wanted to go to my girl and her sister.

Was not impressed but at least I spent the rest of my day off getting very drunk when I got home.

Aagh I'm worried now, have moved house since I registered last year. The ticket tracker has my current address and says tickets in stock and waiting to be dispatched but what if they've gone to my old address??!! Will maybe ring them tomorrow just to be sure!! Won't be satisified til I have them in my hands!!!

Don't fret, I moved house since purchasing my tickets and received them safely last week. I've had issues with See before, but this time they pulled out all the stops, hope you get them safely.

Also a little worried myself as I've also moved. When I bought tickets I tried online and it said it failed, so I also booked over the phone and ended up getting charged twice - one was to my current address and the other my previous, I got See to cancel the old address but who knows what'll happen!
