Wolves Civic by me are selling Sonisphere tickets

£100 weekend ticket

£125 camping ticket

but you have to buy two to get the deal so really its £200 and £250

still its a great deal, im not sure if you can get the coach deal with this offer

But it just shows they must be having real trouble selling the tickets

Yup! They certainly seem to be throwing incentives about with wild abandonment!

I personally think the Soni line up is far superior to dls. But as right as I always think I am :) I'm in the minority I think!

Also, give how things are at the moment, i guess people want more for their money. (More days, more bands) personally I would probably see more bands in 2 days at soni than in 3 at dl. Just my opinion though.

2 day fests are tricky. You either have to sell tickets cheaper (like when dl started out) or get an outstanding line up ala T in the Park to compensate for the fact it is 2 days.

Personally, I have to agree with MetalliKriss and say it's the best single line up I have ever seen for a fest. I know my opinion only counts for one ticket though. :)

Sunday is set to be the most intense day ever!!

Also I have to say that otherwise he'll hit me and call me a fanny! :)

SHUT UP YOU FANNY.

:)

I don't know. The price is a little steep (Tool could have made a heck of a difference IMO), but ultimately it is a very strong lineup. I think this is just the wrong year to launch a festival based on the concept of paying for a three day festival and getting a very good two day festival.

to be honest i bought my ticket on the strength of the lineup after about two announcements (metallica, machine head, nine inch nails, alice in chains....), but i do think our hopes were raised a bit with promises of huge announcements and eyebrow raising bands. heaven and hell are a bit of a cop out i think. there are quite a few bands i'll be ignoring (h&h, a7x, airbourne, coheed, but the fact that this could be the last time i get to see nine inch nails means i can't miss it.

i think overall, download does have the stronger lineup, but i'd probably miss half the bands i wanted to see because of clashes anyway. at least with sonisphere that won't be too much of a problem.
