Testing mine out for the first time since Glasto last year, at Wychwood tomorrow night :D

I suppose its a trifle risky by testing it at another festival, but its been going for 4 years now so I'm confident it will last the course! A dry forecast for tomorrow night is a relief however, just in case :D

I had a dry run at the weekend with my new tent. I say dry run, but it pelted down on Monday morning, so the tent is currently lying in my hallway drying out again. It held up very well altogether and is probably the best tent I've ever owned. It's a Gelert Tornado 4, if anyone's interested. Seems to be going for around £45 and is very much a bargain.

Not yet, but will be buying a can of Nikwax at the weekend and giving it the once over...not that I will need to of course as it's going to be a scorcher :D

Went camping with Chocky and friend at weekend cos he discovered/forgotten he had left his tent with said friend. We had all forgotten how big the tent was! 4 of us slept v nicely. And only a wee bit of 07 mud on the flysheet. :D

i gought a new 1 about 3 months ago, i think i'm gonna put it up this afternoon.

i bought a cheap 1 from tesco in Feb and it had a pole missing :D

it only cost £7 in the sale so didn't bother with the hassle of putting it back in the bag to take it back

Using the same one i have had for like 4 years in a row, been to 8 or so festivals (Not all with me) as you can imagine....its pretty torn up the sleeping compartments are falling down may aswell not have one, there is a huge hole in one of sleeping compartments there is dried sick on the inside from Reading last year and im pretty sure we are missing all if not most of the pegs. The fabric is so stretched is about 4x bigger than the actual frame.....cant seem to throw the thing away.....wanna keep it going until its not actually a tent anymore just a big sheet.

I bought a Gelert Twister 5 and had a go at putting it up on Sunday.

It went up in about 5 mins, dead easy, and its HUGE! Can stand up, lie down, have a party in it!! :D

Took it down......took about an hour, including several views of the 'how to' video on the net, lots of wrestling on the ground with it, broken nails, hysterical laughing and bruises... :D

Eventually got it back in its bag, now Im frightenend to open it up ever again!

Been lucky enough to attend 2 festivals in the new tent this year. It survived a mini tornado at Bearded Theory and the scorchin sun at Glastonbudget so I reckon it's prepared for anything Glasto can throw at it..(although it's yet to be tested against the out of tune vocals of Lady Ga Ga)
