adamski
Put mine up at the weekend, when it was really hot!! It's a six man one and managed it on my own in about twenty minutes. Hoping it's as easy in just under 4 weeks.
hatethisandillloveyou
Mines up at the moment. However didnt find the tent pegs and it got windy so its tied to a tree Works fine though, but probably gonna need to find the pegs sometime in the next 3 weeks
ampersand
You couldn't stand up straight in that surely!
theleedslads
Yeah a few goes now! QUECHUA BASE 4.2. popup. Struggled for a couple of hours taking it down! then got the knack! Ace tent
Foxy1984
New tent for me. No weekends free between now and the festival to put it up, so I need a nice dry evening to give it a go and at least make sure everything is in the bag!
Ladybug-nina
No you cant stand up in our one but it still is quite tall. My Husband managed to put it up in 10 minutes which means that 12 minutes after we have set the tent up we will be having a pear cider
mario man
Testing mine out for the first time since Glasto last year, at Wychwood tomorrow night I suppose its a trifle risky by testing it at another festival, but its been going for 4 years now so I'm confident it will last the course! A dry forecast for tomorrow night is a relief however, just in case
Redcanadahat
having my tent run this weekend. woohoo
shiveringsky
I had a dry run at the weekend with my new tent. I say dry run, but it pelted down on Monday morning, so the tent is currently lying in my hallway drying out again. It held up very well altogether and is probably the best tent I've ever owned. It's a Gelert Tornado 4, if anyone's interested. Seems to be going for around £45 and is very much a bargain.
kohoutec
Not yet, but will be buying a can of Nikwax at the weekend and giving it the once over...not that I will need to of course as it's going to be a scorcher
LusciousLucy
Went camping with Chocky and friend at weekend cos he discovered/forgotten he had left his tent with said friend. We had all forgotten how big the tent was! 4 of us slept v nicely. And only a wee bit of 07 mud on the flysheet.
tazzyb
Was going to put mine up to check the size. Bought it online so having a good panic. However went to a garden centre on Monday that sells tents and the had mine model up. So had a good look at it. very happy and bought a canopy extention for it. jamesglast
i gought a new 1 about 3 months ago, i think i'm gonna put it up this afternoon. i bought a cheap 1 from tesco in Feb and it had a pole missing it only cost £7 in the sale so didn't bother with the hassle of putting it back in the bag to take it back
Curtains1
Using the same one i have had for like 4 years in a row, been to 8 or so festivals (Not all with me) as you can imagine....its pretty torn up the sleeping compartments are falling down may aswell not have one, there is a huge hole in one of sleeping compartments there is dried sick on the inside from Reading last year and im pretty sure we are missing all if not most of the pegs. The fabric is so stretched is about 4x bigger than the actual frame.....cant seem to throw the thing away.....wanna keep it going until its not actually a tent anymore just a big sheet. liverlou
I bought a Gelert Twister 5 and had a go at putting it up on Sunday. It went up in about 5 mins, dead easy, and its HUGE! Can stand up, lie down, have a party in it!! Took it down......took about an hour, including several views of the 'how to' video on the net, lots of wrestling on the ground with it, broken nails, hysterical laughing and bruises... Eventually got it back in its bag, now Im frightenend to open it up ever again!
Frenchie1973
I am excited - bought new whopper of a tent at the weekend. It's Coleman Riverside and should comfortably fit 3 of us (it's 6 man) Hope to try and put it up at the weekend pending no rain!!
oldbird
Used ours at Easter in the snow, then again at Bearded Theory where it survived the tornado! It still has Glasto 07 mud on it.

scaryclaireyfairy
we put ours up a couple of weeks ago but we're going to put it up again next week and re-waterproof it just to be sure. i'm hoping this extra precaution will ensure sunshine. bertieb73
Been lucky enough to attend 2 festivals in the new tent this year. It survived a mini tornado at Bearded Theory and the scorchin sun at Glastonbudget so I reckon it's prepared for anything Glasto can throw at it..(although it's yet to be tested against the out of tune vocals of Lady Ga Ga)
