The Queens Head

Hiya,

So i'm a tad confused...J.Mraz is playing the queens head and the acoustic stage on friday night...both 2/3rd slot from the top. How will he play both if they're the same time?? Or does the Queens head bands go late into the night (like past midnight)

Alsoooo, is the queens head located right near the Other Stage or am I getting my stages confused? it's like a big tent isnt it?

According to Halvin's excellent Clashfinder, the Queen's goes on for a while after the main stages.

It's moved to the spot Leftfield has left behind, at William's Green.

not all set lengths are the same, so third from top on one stage doesn't necessarily match up with 3rd from top on another.

But it's also possible that the Queens Head is outside of the main stages curfew (i'm not sure if it is or isn't).

according to the clashfinder jason mraz will be on at 2am..which suits me fine! that means i'll get to see him on the acoustic stage AND the queens head.

i saw that the queens head performances went to 3am but just assumed that wasnt right. so i take it is it correct?

I Thought the queens head went showing bands later than the main stages last year, anyone else confim or reject this notion?

If it does stay open later, then the Motown 50th Birthday disco on Sunday will be an ace way to finish the fest after Blur!
