fantomas
They probably won't clash; Springsteen has an hour longer than Franz will, so 2nd on Pyramid probably clashes with 3rd on the Other (Maximo Park).
harper11
i cant believe pendulum would ever be involved in a clash awful band
godders1966
Kasabian! of course Pendulum have only got one song haven't they?
swede
Im a big fan of both, saw Pendulum last year at Leeds Festival and they were amazing, Ive read people on here saying "theyve only got one song", they're a dance act so even if you only know a few songs the rest are still easy to go mental too..............and trust me the crowd for pendulum will be amazing in terms of going for it. I dont think they will clash, if Eavis has bent over backwards to get Springsteen to play they will give him his normal set time which is 2-3 hours, plus a 20-30 minute stage set up after Kasabian thats nearly 3 hours after Kasabian leave the stage which is enough time to see Pendulum after Kasabian. Personally if Springsteen does get a long set im off to The Park after Kasabian to see who the special guest are (hopefully Libertines), if its someone shite I'll be bombing back to see some of Pendulum then Franz....................................cant wait !!!!! barney73
Without a doubt, it's gotta be Kasabian. 3 top albums and great live band. No contest! But someone should tell Tom to get a haircut.

Petewasbristol
For me personally, Kasabian. The new album is simply outstanding and the fact that the boss follows them is going to make for an incredible night on the pyramid (For me anyway). Expect a setlist like this 1. Shoot The Runner 2. Processed Beats 3. Fire 4. Empire 5. Vlad The Impaler 6. Stuntman 7. Club Foot 8. Underdog 9. You Got The Love 10. L.S.F. At the end of the day though, its how you feel on the day and who you want to see most, don't let others convince you, convince yourself!! theleedslads
Ooooh KASABIAN for me, but so wanted to see Pendulum too. Hope they play "Where did the love go"
Felna
Have a real dilemma on this one - saw Pendulum at Bestival last year and thought they were fantastic. Can't stand Kasabian, their songs always sound half finished. But the draw of Springsteen will probably see me somewhere in the pyramid stage area. Either that of just lurking at a beer tent waiting for them to finish.
Glazieyes
Definitley Kasabian, Pendulum are just a poor man's Prodigy. I will see the real dealon Sunday instead.
Chris12345
Yeah, Pendulum's festival sets are far too pop heavy... but they're still good fun!

pie_and_a_pint
I'm going for Pendulum, but hoping that the 'Springsteen plays for hours' thing is true so Kasabian are on early and I can catch both...
marktea
Good interview with Kasabian in the Guardian today: http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/may/2...asylum-petridis

De Selby
Kasabian are good live, but i'm not too keen on their new stuff, so leaning towards pendulum. But will leave any decision making to the day

joshwarrr
I think I shall be going to see Pendulum, although I am not a big fan of the Other Stage, so I may not stay for long.
Homer
Can anyone hear? They won't clash. Springsteen is playing for 2.5 hours. This conversation is redundant.

Biff10
Both amongst my favourite bands - seen both a couple of times. KASABIAN for me though. Pendulum on the Other Stage Surely that will be a bit shit. Best off in a tent or a low ceiling club
RichieSpenno
Going to see Kasabian tonight so that will make my mind up. Although I'm pretty sure I'll be at Kasabian before hopping over to Franz on Other (I know it would make more sense to be at Pendulum but meh). EDIT. But on this "Springsteen will play for hours" thing, could this mean Kasabian will clash with Maximo Park? That would be horrid Edited May 29, 2009 by RichieSpenno
