seebee71
You have to be 18 to enter that Guardian competition.
Alcatraz
It sounds like selling the Leeds tickets on eBay should be certainty if you sell them for the face value. So why not borrow the money for the Glastonbury tickets from a friend or relative and start trying for adult Glastonbury tickets (via the internet and by phone). If you manage to get Glastonbury tickets then you sell the Leeds tickets and repay your friend/relative. If you don't get Glastonbury tickets you just give back the money to your friend/relative and go to Leeds. If people aren't willing to lend for free you could pay them interest, say £5 per ticket. That's almost a 3% return over a few weeks - not bad in the current economic climate.
crashnburn
personnally I'd try and sell my v ticket instead leeds is a completely differnt vibe its worth expericening both and i think you should take the chance to see the artics and radiohead while you can. if nothing works out you can still go to glastonbury next year . Innana
The only thing i can think of is finding someone willing to add two 15 year old tickets to their bill, but i suppose the whole thing of trust etc may be a problem :/
winnets99
leeds tickets arent going for much above face value on ebay, so why not sell your leeds ticket now...try get your glasto ticket...if you have no luck just buy another leeds ticket on ebay for a smilar price you sold it for
Monkismo
Arctic Monkeys fan (assumed from your avatar) in Has Leeds tickets but would rather go to Glasto shock. I like it - can we sticky it as a message to all the lineup moaners?

Monkismo
Yehh im a big kings of leon fan and a big arctics fan .. which probly does confuse you why we want to go to glastonbury instead. The reason is.. travel to glastonbury is much easier and accessible than leeds and also we like the idea of a kinda of relaxed atmosphere, unlike leeds which i imagine to be quite "rough" if thats the right word :S Its just the hassle of going to leeds, just to see two bands who we will get the chance to see again. Rhyscot
Yeh, makes me want to go even more :/, and if this year doesnt work out, we know exactly where we'll be going next year
Monkismo
Good man. Shame you couldn't go last year and the year before cos to see your two fave bands at the best festival in the world is the best thing ever!
Rhyscot
Ahh yeh, well we only experienced our first fest last year and that was V, mainly because we live relatively close to weston park which is always good , soo yeh, fingers crossed i might be joining you guys there this year but.. :S
Rhyscot
urmm, once you enter all your details in, it comes up with: ADULT (AGED 16+) - SOLD OUT CHILD (AGED 13-15) - £180.00 including £5.00 booking fee And to buy the child ticket which we could get away with using, you need an adult to purchase a Adult ticket at the same time, and seeing as though they are sold out it makes it impossible :/
Rhyscot
Its fine ! Easy mistake made. , I suppose i could always give that "bull" competition a go !
Rhyscot
Yeh, fingers crossed. Never had any luck in any of those sort of competitions so you never know
farewellandgoodnight
It pains me to say this but the best advice i could give you is to forget about Glasto for this year, enjoy Leeds and don't make to the same mistake next year. Yeah you might get lucky and get a ticket but it's unlikely now and even more so if you don't have the cash to hand. If you dwell on Glasto much more you'll only spoil Leeds for yourself imagining what could've been.
markeee
yep, totally agree, if you have to sell your leeds tickets before you can get glasto tickets..all takes time, meaning less and less chance of getting 2 tickets..and you could endup not going to leeds or glasto
