Tents

For V we'll be needing a new tent as we have a extra person this year. Last year there were two of us happily in a 3 berth Asda tent (which suprisingly held up against the Weston Park weather). I've been having a bit of a look around but nothing beats personal recommendations. So we're looking for a 4 to 6 berth tent, ideally with a porch area, not too pricey in case it get wrecked but hopefully will survive V and can be used fora bit of normal camping. So if anyone knows any tents/brands/sites/shops that may help then it'll be very much appreciated!

i defo say ebay, i got my four man tent on their last year and it was suberb and only cost 15 quid.

i know it wont help you know but heres a little tip that i use and has paid off for a few friends as well.

A lot of the camping companys need to get rid of their old stock during the winter months to make way for the new stuff that comes in during the spring, so there are loads of bargains to be had on ebay during decemeber thru to february as they need to shift them pronto.

something to bear in mind for next year anyway

Some blacks stores have last years model of the Vango Alpha 300 for £20. Which is a steal in my eyes. A well known brand that should be able to survive most of Englands weather.

The 2009 model retails for around £40.
