Billy09
Hmmm, loved the debut (especially good gym music), but not convinved at all by Empire. Was not planning to see them this year but will have to check out Jools now and dercide. Own both on CD for the record, not that I'm entirely inocent of having the odd copied tune here and there. septemberwillow
Saw them for the first time last night at Leicester DMH. Thought they were superb and are now a must-see at Glasto (if only for 'compare and contrast' reasons going from a fairly small venue to second billing on the Pyramid!) They did Fire, Fast Fuse and Underdog amongst the new stuff - all really good live but then I thought they were great on Jools too. They sounded great, whipped the crowd up nicely (athough, as it was a homecoming gig, there was plenty of footie chanting going off anyway) and I didn't stop bouncing around for the whole 90 minutes. Wish Tom would get his hair cut though
Spindles
Been hooked on the album for a couple of weeks since getting hold of a leaked version, will buy it anyway not least because it is, in my mind, their best album yet. Where the first album was experimental and Empire being a step towards a more primal scream influenced sound the third is like they've reached where they are going. Less filler than empire, more consistency than the debut, Vlad and Happiness are real standouts for me. Can't wait to hear the material live. tylerdurden
Brilliant album, still prefer their first but this ones gunna grow. This and The Horrors' "Primary Colours" already big contenders for Album of the year.
guyfawkes
Saw Kasabian at the Heaton Park gig last night, they were superb Fire is absolutely unreal live it proper sent the crowd off.
