How full will be the tent be for Orbital?

I remember seeing them play t in the part in the slam tent and it was totally and utterly packed to the rafters. I wonder if the clamor to see them may not be the same now though, meaning the need to be in the second stage tent all day to see them may not be quite as strong.

I have some laser specs so Ive bought new AA's and there in the ruck sack...they are man head size so they keep slipping off my ears but might just tape them on! (the specs, not my ears)

i think it will be busy, but not packed!

there will be alot of people watching basement jaxx, super furry animals, in the ed banger tent or even back in the campsite!

I cant wait to see them, hopefully hear a few new tunes but "chime" will be awesome

I take it you were one of the indie children who endured a "boring" set in order to get up close to your pop heroes. Quite sad really. I doubt your presence will be missed when they play anyway.

The last time they played it was in King Tuts, we walked in very easily. It then packed out for Snow Patrol who were on after them, they had just had the biggest hit of the summer with 'Run' and a no.1 album. You couldn't get into 'Tuts for them. It was also busier when Electric 6 were on before them. They won't be another Daft Punk.

Saying that, it will be pretty busy for Orbital. Nothing to shout about lol Still no going to see them

according to an interview i read somewhere - there's no new Orbital material (yet) but the live show has been tweaked...presumably some of the segue samples have changed. I'm hoping for a repeat of the '04 set at T - it was astounding

i think the tent will be mobbed. orbital have got a massive scottish fan base.

orbital are my favourite band that are playing the festival BUT i aint gonna let worrying about getting into see them ruin my whole festival. that kinda messed up a few folk a couple of years worrying about daft punk. if it happens , it happens. its still a cracking festival. if i'm sitting on top of that hill on my own drinking a beer just looking over the festival watching nothing in particular when orbital are on, i'll be happy. hopefully they'll open the sides of the tent like they did for daft punk.

and i'll tell you one thing, there's no danger i'm sitting through 2 hours of pete tong just to see orbital.

They're playing a couple of gigs this weekend, in Eastern Europe, so hopefully some set lists will appear.
