No sign of refunds

Hi all! I am having a slight (massive) problem with See tickets. We cancelled two of our groups tickets on the 8th May as they just couldn't afford it. Now it's been three weeks and still no sign of the money! :D We started chasing See about it two weeks ago and they are being f**king useless and keep telling us to call back if it still hasn't gone in a couple of days. They're saying they've been refunded but the money has definately not gone back in our account. :(

Me and the Mr covered our mates tickets (the ones that were refunded) and are really needing that money back. Does anyone have any ideas what we can do? I guess just waiting for See to sort it out is our only option but they are rubbish and I'm getting a bit worried. Has this happened to anyone else? AARGH!!!

That's really rubbish! :( I hope it works out. I guess just keep chasing them.

Something that has worked for me each time I have tried it is contacting the CEO! Sounds extreme but I did this with BT and Vodafone (obviously bigger companies than See though) and after loads of calls to call centre staff who were unable to help me, I have suddenly had someone on the phone within an hour, resolving the problem! Clearly it is not the CEO calling me back, usually some kind of PA who is responsible for responding to emails that go through to, what I expect, is a fake email address for such purposes. If you can find out the name of the CEO of See and try googling to figure out the email, you could give it a go.

Cheers Laura_Baba. :) That sounds like the way forward at this point. They said someone would be calling us on Tuesday to sort it out, but then again they've also given me three different responses when I've called about it before so I ain't holding me breath. :( I'll give them till Tuesday and then try and hunt down their CEO (not in a murderous fashion, in an internet way :D ).

anyone get the £40 back from pre-booked but non-purchased tickets (by end of Jan or whenever)? I paid housemates deposit and he forgot to pay the balance (has since got one again) but no sign of money getting put back into my account...

Poor old see tickets have to make money some how!! :) , if they keep hold of your money for as long as possible then more interest for them while your money is sitting in there bank accounts.

Send them a letter saying they are in default with this debt !!!

Hi

I work in customer relations (ie complants) for a major airline. I would advise finding out the CEO of see and writing to them email or letter. In an ideal world it will get to their PA who will contact the complaints/refunds department and insist that they sort it quick sharp.

Worst case it will go straight to the complaints/refunds department but they will deal with complaints directly to CEO quicker then the normal channels.

Hi, I too was going to suggest the same as Matt0502 - I used an alternative number with Tiscali, and got through to the people in the know - my problem was then resolved quickly - also you can get a name of the person you speak to and ensure you have thier direct line... this means someone actually takes responsibility for your problem.

Thanks for all the advice. :( I'm gonna go with the stalker calls and the CEO thing. And I will definitely be complaining. Also thinking of emailing the glastonbury office if I can find the contact details.

I mean I wouldn't be so worked up if it was a score or whatever, but it's about £350! They literally owe me hundreds of pounds and I feel like they're just not taking that seriously. I know it doesn't take weeks upon weeks to get a refund but it's like talking to a brick wall with See. An embarrassingly stupid brick wall. That smells of wee. God I hate them!
