ghandi
I have listened to the Horrors new album and have to say i'm liking them, also heard some of Aminal collective, and together with the two special guest slots ( i,m praying one is Placebo, maybe 8pm slot) it seems worth a good night, with the JP on Sat. Joshuwarr
Yep friday at The Park is the place to be. Its gonna be bloody epic. The Horrors new album material followed by Animal Collective and their wonderful array of amazing songs will be a night to behold. Listening to Placebo at the moment so if they are the special guests then I will cry
Pilgrim S
I think The Horrors album is one of the best of the year. It's quite a bit different tothe last album. I actually saw their set at glasto was it 2 years ago, or last year, when a lot of people walked out. I actually enjoyed it and was quite impressed. I was actually expecting it to be shit, but it reminded me of The Cramps or The Birthday Party. This new album is more Joy Division and My Bloody Valentine, and I'm curious if they can pull it off live.
ghandi
i love Placebo, and think they should have been on as a headliner on the other stage, but given their tour dates i think that a slot on the Park on the Friday fits well and fits well with the other artists, which i dont think is the case on the other stages, what a night that will be if it happens, also might be dead weather or the Libertine( the latter i'm not bothered about), it's going to be rammed. daggermouth
I need to give the new albulm a try as ive heard lots of good things about it but never really given them a chance after seeing them support the arctic monkeys at ally pally. Well i say saw them i walked in and saw the lead singer dribbling on the microphone and thought ive seen enough and walked straight back out and back to the bar.
