Muse on the Park Stage?

How likely is it though that a band that big would play a gig that small, and I don't mean the hugeness of their following - I mean that usually they have epic sets, lights etc?

Would love it if it was true but I am just not sure how it would work?

I honestly think Muse would be an issue with so many turning up.

Placebo are a superb band too, but I think this might happen. :-)

I'm not sure I like this secret gig stuff.

For me, and I guess more than a few others, I'd rather see Muse headline than Neil Young or Bruce Springsteen. It would be annoying if their only slot was a secret one which by chance you might catch if you waited around long enough or got lucky.

Fair enough to do a secret gig if they're also doing a fully advertised main stage slot, but for arguably the biggest band at the festival (and yes I know it is arguable!!) to only play a secret gig at the Park would be a bit disappointing IMO.

I'm not a Muse fan so I might be wrong, but didn't they play in the Royal Albert Hall a while ago? They couldnt've used all their massive spaceships and fireworks and whatever during that set surely? Maybe it'd be something like that show was.

This would all be amazing if it did happen but I'm going to remain skeptical and will only venture over to the stage if there's a nice gap when I'm not doing anything. None of the headliners are worth missing for me, I'm a huge Muse fan, seen them 6 times and will no doubt see them more, so I wont be too gutted if I miss them.

Dont get me wrong would be probably the biggest koo at any fest if Emily has pulled this off.

Trouble is guess mosyt of us would assume that they ( or whoever ) have the 8pm slot when could swing a curve ball and stroll out at one of the earlier TBC special guest slots.

Anyone know what the criptic clues on their twitter/ web site have been. Got the one about the low key gig on the 26th.

How disappointing would it be though if its anyone of a lesser "stature" as these things tend to gain momentum and by the time friday night comes around unless its Led Zep everyones gonna be disappointed!

I may be wrong but I reckon there would be a serious crush if word got out they were playing may well be a Health & Safety issue.
