Best place to meet up outside Glastonbury

We've been to Glasto plenty of times before, but this is a new one.....

I'm arriving on Wednesday morning with my brother from Reading aiming for the West Carpark. A friend of mine is coming from Bristol. I have to get onsite with him (he's in a wheelchair and I get his PA ticket). To use that we have to go in together.

The plan is to set off early and rendezvous offsite, I jump from one car to the other (we might slow down or even stop completely ). Obviously the queues start a few miles away, so I am trying to plan in advance the best place to meet up. Ideally a petrol station or carpark (postcode would be useful for satnav).

So, any advice is it best to meet in Glastonbury town, Wells or can someone suggest a better alternative.

You could try the Sainsburys in Street, will be handy if one of you is early and fancies getting some last minute supplies.

Last year we travelled from London on the Wednesday morning and met up with the others, travelling down from Bristol direction, at Tesco in Shepton Mallet around 7am. No problems that way and then a very short trip to the festival gates.
