We're due to set off for Glasto first thing on the Wednesday morning, however as we have quite a distance to travel we had the idea of travelling down on the Tuesday night so that we are there for the gates opening on the Wednesday. Does anyone know if you can drive into the car parks on the Tuesday, as we thought we could just park up and pitch our tents in the car park ready for the gates opening. Does anyone know if you are able do this?

Pretty sure you can't. They're pretty strict when it comes to opening the site. Would it be possible to pitch up at a supermarket or service station and kip for a couple of hours in the car park? Get to the site as the gates open and then catch another 40 winks once the tent is up.
