BinThereDrummedThat
2 / 3 man tent needed - what can you reccomened. Cheap as possible, but one which should stand up if we get some rain. Not fussed about going for the "all scenarios" tent - if it absolutely chucks it down we'll find somewhere else to stay. DEFINATELY under £40. Any reccomendations. Not fussed about brand etc - just needs to be a tent which will keep us dry in some rain. To last Glastonbury and some dry (ish) camping trips - not much. Cheers! LusciousLucy
More than enough £35 deals with sleeping bags etc thrown in at Argos, Millets and so on. You cant go wrong with Lidl tents when those are available. Cant say much for Asda but whatever you do, just make sure it is double skinned. Try and find out how it goes up too as the sorts where you make the outside first are always better especially if it is raining when you put tent up. PS...plenty of tent threads in here and Questions...

TheNewUnion
might be able to do a deal with this guy /index.php?showtopic=122582">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.p...howtopic=122582 Good tent but it's £10 over your budget (then P&P) either that or Hear nothing but good things about Coleman tents and this is super cheap http://www.outdoormegastore.co.uk/acatalog...mping_Tent.html or a vango http://www.outdoormegastore.co.uk/acatalog..._Dome_Tent.html Had one of these for my first fest, pissed it down for two full days and I remained dry as a bone. Cybercheckout are super cheap http://www.cybercheckout.co.uk/Store/Categ...amp;catid=31075 but I wouldn't hang my hat on the quality, if you're not overly arsed though, they might be the way to go
london_ajay
Hmmm I was definitely not impressed with Lidl tent (V Festival 2007 - a constant washout and the tent seemed to have the waterproof properties of a sieve). So since Glasto last year, I've bought tents with a "hydrostatic head" of 2000 minimum. Oh the pleasure of hearing it pour while remaining bone dry was bliss! £35 from Argos, 3 man tent. LINKY The porch did collect a few spiders but that's nature!!
HurrahBrother
Got a Millets nearby? They have a sale on. Often stuff not on their website, models from previous years, much cheaper than on their website.

Anyanka
I got a 2 man at pop up tent the Gelert Rasperry one, money off bit there too. Pretty impressed so far and won't complaint about the cost. Already had a mock go pre-set up in my local park! Got a mega cheap one last year from tesco i think and it collapsed on me
