stutheblue
Yes yes I know that Bruce is a legend and that i'll probably never get to see him again on these isles, but I still have such a soft spot for the Wonderstuff. And Ive not seen them for 15 years. Apparently they will be performign 8 legged groove machine as its 20 years since its release. My first festival experience was Phoenix 94 (i think) and they were incredible as the headliners. I think i'll try and catch the first half of the Boss and if im not feeling it will nip across to Avalon to watch the Wonderstuff. How long would it take to walk between the Pyramid and Avalon? Does anyone else have similar plans?
slat
I was just going to say it took us three hours to get back from avalon to pyramid last year but now realise that we must have been bimbling excessively!
danbailey80
We they definitely be playing the whole of eight legged groove machine? THey've been doing that for awhile now have they not? If they are I will prob give it a miss. Personally I'd like a mixture of those first 4 albums..Are we sure this is the format? cheers
slat
They played it from start to finish in leeds the other week but suspect it will be greatest hits all the way at glasto. Can't see size of a cow somehow though Edited June 2, 2009 by slat
sprocketrocket
I saw them on Friday! They were at Wychwood festival, playing the sunset slot in glorious weather, and were on very good form I'm glad to say! I saw them about 2 years ago & they were okish but they really nailed it on Friday night, played some absolute classics....Circlesquare, Unbearable, Mission Drive... They played a greatest hits set (minus one obvious omission) but they have been playing Eight Legged Groove Machine in its entirety at gigs for a few months now. I thought they would have done another hits set at Glasto?

IamChappu
Wonderstuff all the way for me! I reckon prob takes at least 15 mins to get from Pyramid to Avalon but if you're not there early will be stuck outside the tent as it will be stuffed. That's what happened with the Proclaimers last year anyway.
Cannock Albion
I was hoping to catch either Pendulum or Kasabian before the Stuffies but think I should really be in the Avalon tent at least an hour before the Stuffies start, could not bear missing this one
glastofreak
I think there may be a Madness situation so everyone be early

Pete G
This is my dilema as well. I cant see being able to get from Pyramid to Avalon with a refreshement stop on the way quick enough to get into Avalon for Stuffies. Might have to miss Kasabian. There must be someone else good on somewhere in that area, whos on Jazz?
daveinafield
ive said before that the saturday night is the worst clash for 11 years of going to Glasto - throwing jarvis and franz in the mix as well. The Stuffies are one of my all time fave bands and I have dreamed of them playing Glasto for ages - yes the phoenix video was great. Yet Bruce is one of my fave artists and i know ill never have the chance again, ive seen Miles solo a lot but it has to be Bruce.
Mardy
dunno, really. I saw the Wonderstuff years ago, my mates were all big fans, i never got them, tbh, but there you go. I expect I'll go and see Jarvis probably.

Now two original members light and Miles being a bit of a TWUNT i am torn between them Jarvis, and 2 many djs. I f I go for the stuffies I could catch kasabian and then bimble down? Where on site is the Avalon? Anyone got a photo?
