Wednesday night around midnight...

Me and Mrs Weasel are stewarding this year down in Shangri-la/Arcadia and come off our first 6 hour shift at Midnight on Wednesday. That's when we'll be able to start enjoying the festival vibe for real....but of course the big questions is what's the best way to make a start?

In previous years I've loved the quieter Wednesday evening, and just stumbled around following my ears in search of whatever. Often I've ended up sitting by the stone circle just watching all the flickering lights. Sometimes I've found a bit of music at one of the eateries or bars that feels like 'right place right time' if that makes any sense.

Anyway, I keep hearing about rabbit holes and secret happenings and all sorts of stuff which I'm clearly not stumbling into so I figured maybe I should have a plan.....so, if you were on-site around midnight on the Wednesday, where would you be heading and what would you be doing to get you Glasto juices flowing...???

Big plans for fun and games for Efesters in the Stone Circle that evening...

Tallulah's Wedding Reception hopefully from around 10ish and then stay up there for Dave's 40th birthday party...expect jelly! :P. All still to be confirmed but should be an open invite and a great way to carry on the party from the earlier Cider Bus meet. Exact location to be finalised.

Will prob all stagger down to Trash/Shangri/Park sometime after midnight.

Good Post !

Last year I seemed to remember being up at the Stone Circle , they had a chap on a rickshaw and

his pedalling powered some decks. There seemed to be hundreds of people there and I remember

he dropped some Prodigy and it all went mental.

If this did not happen then lord knows what happened :P

Then met up with friends in the bar in the park where my friend got told off 3 times for smoking !

(but got told of 3 times in a nice Glastonbury way )

None of Trash / Shangri La / Dance is running Wednesday night, is it? Best just to wander around, you may just come across some small impromptu performances, I seem to recall last year we ended up in the Art Cafe just past Leftfield with some chap playing guitar and singing backed by girl with a fiddle.

Was at the Stone Circle all night last year, until sunrise, don't recall any pedal powered record playing! :P Mustn't have been paying attention. Or perhaps it was during our brief wander over to The Park, or back to tent to put on yet another jumper due to the extreme cold! :D
