al_coholic
Is you mate open to the fact that buying a ticket of eBay far from guarantees him entry to the festival The fact that its from a competition makes it unbelievably dodgy

LusciousLucy
According to someone yesterday, they were able to get a ticket yesterday going through the usual method.
helen_peters24@hotmail.com
Greedy person selling them on ebay- they could sell them on here for face value and if they did genuinely win them they would still be making over £200 cash (can't remember how much my ticket was now!) LusciousLucy
Ok...so...the dude enters a Glasto comp that he knows he cant attend... doesnt say which competition it was they entered...knowledge of it would make it more legit... hmm...hope it's legit for whoever hands over way too much money for them. Alcatraz
I don't understand this kind of thinking at all. If I had a ticket to an event I couldn't go to I'd stick it on ebay too. I can't think of a fairer way than an auction to make sure that the tickets are selling for a price that both the seller and buyer are happy with. Alcatraz
And yup it was from Spot the Bull It's ok I guess then
dieweener
I won my tickets on Kerrang Radio for the 2007 festival around this time I think and my photo was printed on the ticket, but I was asked to give the registration numbers straight away and luckily I had on me for some bizarre reason. Maybe if i didn't have the numbers they would of given me time like this guy. But face value would of been more soul-saving than auction style. The rich people have more chance with auction style while paupers like myself could only just afford the £180 price as it is. Thank god for the deposit scheme. I think i'm babbling on a bit here so i'll stop.

russycarps
selling tickets over face value is touting, simple as that. Preying on peoples desperation to go to Glastonbury is even more despicable considering the ethos of the festival. Unless you are giving the profit to charity I don't see how you can justify making money in this way. It is just utter greed and selfishness. Touts are total scum.
