And how would young Rhyscot feel about having to tell his mate 'Ive got a ticket but you haven't'? Would you really leave a young lad to have break that news, make that choice of whether he goes on his own and drops his mate or just misses out?

Come on, you're getting there :D

the insults and bad feeling in this thread is getting me down .

surely your anger could be put to better use people!!

for what its worth my opinon would be that the comp should be open only to people who have registered for glastonbury, that way only people who wanna go can win.

Haha this sale is up to £720 and has 4 days to run, which is far too much. I remember all this a few years back where GFL (allegedly) would be bidding on tickets and not paying.

IMO i think this sale will be pulled or fail completely.

consider this:

I have tickets for the festival.

I enter the competition to win tickets on spot the bull.

I win and sell my tickets at face value to someone who is desperate.

I tell orange my name is [ticket buyer 1] and [ticket buyer 2].

I recoup the money i spent on tickets, and so have effectively won 2 free tickets to the festival, plus made someone very happy in that they get to go to glasto.

Any moral objections here?

Its the only interpretation to put on it.

But to the buyer, an over-priced ticket is an over priced ticket, regardless of where it comes from. It's either alright for everyone to sell overpriced tickets or it's not right for anyone to see over price tickets. There isn't an alright for one, not alright for others about it.

Sorry - at what point is someone who has been unfortunate enough to lose their job going 'cap in hand' for benefits? I thought benefits were there to support people when they needed it. Are you seriously suggesting they should have to sell everything (ie maximise their assets) before they get any help? or would you like to retract the suggestion that benefit claimants are in some way beggars? Cap in hand my arse

i've been doing the "spot the bull" competition quite alot over the past week and havnt had any luck : /, makes it harder for those who dont have a ticket to win if there is people entering who already have tickets.
