1 Of my mates still has not gotten his tickets , as I ordered them, all the info came to my email addy , when I checked them again this morning it said they had been delivered.

Q alarm bells

I rang my mate and told him that they had been delivered on the 30th of mat to which he said "NO THEY AINT".So i get on the phone to seetickets who say they have the signiture form and he sighned his name first intial last name ...I know he sighns his name using his full first name .

anyone else had this ?....did they finaly get tickets ?

Eek. I would report this to seetickets immediately and find out what they are going to do about it. It is their responsibility to ensure the tickets get to the correct person.

I would ring seetickets and ask to speak to a line manager or someone as I doubt someone on the phones has the authority to do anything in this situation. Make sure you take the name of the person you are speaking to so that if they give you any assurances you can quote them at a later date.

Good luck! I'm sure they will sort it out for you

Sounds like someone's maybe nabbed the tix? You need to get seetickets to fax you the signed form, and then you can see for sure.

If it was at your neighbour's they surely wouldn't have signed with your friend's name?

Not sure what the procedure is if someone has scabbed the ticket, must happen every year though, things being as they are. Seetickets must have a procedure in place for this, it can't be the only time it's happened.

A similar situation was discussed here:

I would advise contacting the police as the ticket appears to have been stolen. At the very least they can give your friend a crime number which can be given to See-Tickets.

similar thing happened to my mate, after having to pay again for redelivery the got sent to the wrong address. The people at the address claim they signed for them without realising what they were and then sent them back to see tickets. Royal mail has earned about £500,000 from postage and the service is completely hit and miss. some people are getting cards, some are not. whats the point of special delivey if anyone can sign for it and take your tix

Sounds a bit strange but every delivery should have a barcode and can be tracked. I had to sign one of those hand held terminals to get my ones. Does your mate stay in a flat ? if he does it would be delivered to the door. Anyone else in the flat having a wind up at his expense and watching him squirm ?? Just an option

If not then get onto See. And check ebay to see if anyone is selling tickets in your area

wait for him to come round , when he opens his eye he is in my cellar with a bright light shining in his face . wait for a few mins for him to start getting agitated then ask again "WERE ARE THE TICKETS" whilst moving closer with blow torch and pliers , Give 1 and only 1 chance to answer before to get medieval on his ass

This happened to my girlfriend last year.. Royal mail did the usual, you have to put in a complaints form and talk to see tickets..

We informed See and also emailed the festival site office office@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk to tell them the postie had nicked the ticket.

Because the tickets have the picture on them, you can arrange for a duplicate to be issued for collection at the site.

BE WARNED, my girlfriend had to queue for 2 hours BUT she did eventually get in

First things first , grab postie and beat the living shit out of him ....then ask him where is ticket , before he can answer beat living shit out him again .

wait for him to come round , when he opens his eye he is in my cellar with a bright light shining in his face . wait for a few mins for him to start getting agitated then ask again "WERE ARE THE TICKETS" whilst moving closer with blow torch and pliers , Give 1 and only 1 chance to answer before to get medieval on his ass .

anyway to cut a long story short it turns out he had left them with my next door neighbours , we have agreed never to speak of this again .

Mine got delivered properly.....silver ticket - i wasn't in - they left a card saying to come and collect & i went and got it.

my mate who lives 1/2 a mile away - just had it shoved through the door with just the normal 1st class printed stamp - no special delivery sticker.....ok it got there ok, but he's slightly peeved at paying £5 or whatever it is for secure delivery and it just got lumped in with normal post (because see didn't put the silver sticker on!)

We had Download tickets delivered for my son yesterday and had to sign for them then while we were still stood at the door ripping the envelope open (thinking they were the Glasto tix) the postie tried to deliver more tix next door that needed signing for. As they weren't in he asked if we would sign for them. We did sign but then he posted them through their door and did not give them to us. Not sure if that is good or bad. At least they got their tix but if they wanted to pretend they didn't then it was our signature on the machine

My tickets were ordered by my boyfriend so it was his name on the envelope, I went to the sorting office with the red slip to collect them - clearly not a MR, signed with my own name and never got asked for proof of address or anything.

I could've been anyone ! Even though I had the red slip, when I got home it was half hanging out the letterbox so anyone could've picked it up ;)
