BTW you should not of left the gig early last year...........although your right in that it was not a great gig when they played time to pretend and Kids as the last tunes it was like a new event!! The place went simply nuts and erupted!........Good moment!

MGMT did play twice last year. I caught them at the Park with my daughter and I was not too impressed..... In fact we left

In my pantheon of live music listings MGMT fall into the category of 'Should have been great'. I know they tried to add a bit of punch by hiring a band but I'd have been happier if they'd have stayed honest and given us some shit hot two piece ethereal electronica. It's also a shame that vocally they have no bollocks, a bit 'Nan's on the karaoke again'. I gave them two shots last year and wanted to like them as it was my album of summer '08 but left after two or three ropey numbers and had a blast with ToddlaT.

Still, never mind.
