I think its gone so quickly!! Only seems like weeks ago I was panicing that I wouldnt be able to get a ticket, then panicing that I'd forget to pay my deposit, then panicing my ticket had gone missing.

Now, its just hit me it's 3 weeks away! Excitement levels are reaching fever pitch! Wooooo Hooooo!

Yeah. since Oct it has flew - but now each day seems like a month.

Went out and did some fitness training yesterday and listened to my Glasto compliation on MP3. Whilst walking I got to thinking that it is only a few weeks away now until the big event so I gotta push myself and get as fit as I can...

But...

I also started thinking about the upset for everyone on the Monday after Glasto and the realisation it is over.

If I could push a button somewhere and forget about Glasto until 21st June - then I would do it because at the moment everything I do, read, buy and think revolves around Glasto somehow.

Happy for the next three weeks to go slowly as I am

a. Not ready yet, still got loads to buy

b. Enjoying the build up

c. Aware that the 5 days there will fly by quicker than any other time of the year

d. Got loads on between now & the 24th

I always enjoy Glasto June

It's dragging so much it's unbearable. Working away in the middle of the syrian Desert, and won't be home till the 17th.

Hopefully the week before will fly as i will have so much prep to get done and my brother is getting married then coming to Glasto for his honeymoon.

This month is going far too slow because I've got so much good stuff going on I don't want it to end!! Oasis on Saturday at Heaton Park, Doves the week after at Delemare Forest, Bill Bailey at the Palace Theatre on 16th and then Glasto shopping weekend before the big G itself. Work is an unwanted distraction that is taking going at too slow a pace.

I totally agree that June is dragging by and we're only 3 days in, the days just seem to take forever. I'm pretty busy over the next few weeks so time should fly bybut 3 weeks still seems like an age to wait.

I know that time is really dragging for my wife due to the way she rolls her eyes and tuts when I mention Glastonbury (though I do tend to mention it at least 3 times an hour and Glastonbury probably accoutns for around 70% of my overall conversation at the moment!)

I've found recieving my ticket earlier than normal got me all excited, but now the excitement has died a little. With my ticket in my possession, transport booked, line up known, time off work arranged...there's nothing left to anticipate, and very little that can go wrong. I hope. It's not that I'm looking forward to going any less than normal, but I think all the possible negatives like a ticket not turning up add to the excitement.

Yes and no. It's only the 3rd June ffs but at the same time I am wishing it could be here sooner but I aint gonna get all upset about things. And hey...as the party starts on the 20th at Avebury anyway...<_<

I have found i'm drinking a lot more than usual since i bought my ticket.

And i'm doing loads more overtime to make some decent spending money for my Glasto jaunt so the month is'nt going fast enough, as soon as i break up for our trip my stupidly early mornings end.
