Hi people, can anybody confirm to me whether there is a delay with some of the early bird tickets?

Me and my girlfriend bought two full weekend camping tickets from a seller on ebay but that seller is saying they still haven't received the tickets and was told they will receive them by next week as theirs some kind of delay!

Just wanna confirm this so I dont miss the chance to buy replacement tickets.

Cheers

Ditto!

But if other people have had official comfirmation of the problem then I guess thats not so bad!

I'd ask the guy to email you the reciept he got or even a print screen of the ticket status page on his ticketmaster account.

My early birds arrived a couple of weeks ago but friends who bought theirs before me are still waiting.

They eventually got through to ticketmaster today and got told their tickets aren't even printed yet. Because they phoned they will try and get them out today.

I bought them on ebay half way through April. Its purely a peace of mind thing cause we're traveling down from Stornoway on the Wednesday before the fest and booked in a b&b that night. So everything's set except the actual tickets. The seller does reply to me emails straight away but they say if they havent arrived to them by Tuesday, they will post them to the b&b. Risky hey!

I duno whether to give the benefit of the doubt and risk it right up til the day or just use spending money and buy replacements.

All my friends (like 10 of them) who bought them recently have all now received them. A very frustrating lesson not to try and save money on festival tickets.

But these replies have put my mind to rest somewhat though.

Thanks guys

Well just remember that you can only raise a Paypal dispute up until 45 days after the date you bought the tickets! Anything after that and you probably would never see the money back!

So work out when that day is and atleast you know what you paid is protected until then! A lot of people who sell 'ghost tickets' for events on ebay do it so the 45 days have passed before the event! Making it very hard for anyone to get their money back!
